[ARCHIVED] Commissioners Host Penn State Extension Talk on Solar Energy in PA

HONESDALE --

The Wayne County Commissioners host experts and educators from the Penn State Cooperative Extension for a presentation on Solar Projects for local landowners.

The program will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 28 from 1 to 2:30 pm in the cafeteria at the Park Street Complex, 648 Park Street, Honesdale.

The Large-Scale Solar workshop will discuss large-scale solar development in Pennsylvania. The workshop will begin with a general update on large-scale solar across Pennsylvania. The workshop will then focus on common leasing issues and concerns for landowners. Extension Educators will also interpret data found on PJM and PUC sites related to Wayne County.

Penn State presenters will also be joined by a local resident working on a solar project in the county and the solar development company involved in that effort.

There will be time for questions and answers at the end of the program, and questions can be submitted in advance by contacting Peter Wulfhorst ptw3@psu.edu or Stephen Alessi spa15@psu.edu
