Drug Treatment Court
The Drug and Treatment Court has been designed to offer non-violent offenders, suffering from drug and alcohol addiction, the treatment they need and restrictive intermediate punishment, in lieu of jail. The program is five phases and can take up to 36 months to complete.

Magisterial District Judges
Magisterial District Justices are authorized to preside over civil matters involving monetary disputes of up to $12,000 and criminal matters that carry possible punishments of up to one year imprisonment. Preside over traffic court and other non-traffic summary offenses, landlord tenant disputes. Conduct preliminary arraignments, set bail, and preliminary hearings.

Public Defender
The Wayne County Public Defender’s Office represents those adult individuals who have been charged with a criminal offense and are determined to be indigent. In addition, the Public Defender’s Office also represents juvenile offenders.

Correctional Facility
The Wayne County Correctional Facility is located on Mid-Wayne Drive, which is off of Route 6, in Texas Township Pennsylvania. The facility houses both male and female offenders in various housing units. Page includes visitation and commisary details

Probation - Adult
The Adult Probation/Parole Department is the investigative and supervisory arm of the Court of Common Pleas. Probation/Parole officers supervise offenders within the community, file investigations as required and make arrests and detain offenders when necessary.

Probation - Juvenile
The Wayne County Juvenile Probation Department is an arm of the Juvenile Court. The department is responsible for the investigation and supervision of juvenile offenders who are alleged to have committed, or who have committed, felony or misdemeanor offenses prior to a juvenile’s 18th birthday.

Domestic Relations
The Domestic Relations Office is the child support assessment/enforcement unit of the Court of Common Pleas. Officers receive initial child support complaints, conduct assessment hearings, investigate change in circumstances involving modification requests and enforce existing support orders.
