[ARCHIVED] County Pantry System Continues Supporting Families in Need

The Wayne County Food Pantry Program conducts monthly distributions of supplemental food items, including fresh local foods, at each of its locations during the month of August.

The Damascus Pantry at the Damascus Township Building at 60 Conklin Hill Road, Damascus will be serving registered families on Thursday, Feb. 15, from 1 to 3 pm.

The Honesdale Pantry location at the Tri-County Beverage Building, 214 Willow Avenue, Honesdale, will be serving registered families Tuesday, Feb. 13, from 10 am to 1 pm.

On Thursday, Feb. 22, the Lakeville Pantry, at the Paupack Township Building, 25 Daniels Road Lakeville, will be serving registered families from 11 am to 2 pm.

The Lakewood Food Pantry at the Northern Wayne Health Center at 412 Como Road, Lake Como will be    serving registered families on Wednesday, Feb. 21, from 12:30 to 2:30 pm.

On Friday, Feb. 9, the Newfoundland Area Pantry will be serving registered families from 11 am to 1 pm at the Dreher Township Building, 899 Main Street, in Newfoundland.

The Wayne County Food Pantry and the friends and neighbors it serves benefit from donations to the Farm to Families Fund at the Wayne County Community Foundation. Your support goes directly to purchasing local eggs, milk and produce to supplement the pantry offerings.
