    The Wayne County Fair attracts nearly 100,000 visitors each year to explore the thousands of animal and non-livestock exhibits, food and midway vendors and local businesses and organizations from around the region. There is granstand entertainment, music on the small stage, roaming performers and, of course, three days of harness racing. From Monster Trucks to the Woodmen's Competition and beyond, the Wayne County Fair caters to all ages.

Our goal is to provide unique, immersive experiences that are often inaccessible to individuals impacted by special needs while providing the general community with an all-encompassing educational and uplifting experience that demonstrates the potential contribution of all people.

  3. Joel Hill Sawmill & Cleveland Museum Open House

    See the Joel Hill water-powered sawmill in action and explore the antique industrial equipment of the Thomas Cleveland Museum during an open house event. The mill was in continuous operation for 90 years after it was built in 1783. Some of the equipment to be seen in the museum includes band saws, jigsaws, mortise machines, drill presses, molding machines, shoe-making machines, a plethora of hand tools and much more.
