  2. Alzheimer's Facts, Figures & Resources: Connects people to the help they need

    The Alzheimer’s Association 24/7 Helpline is providing a 2-part webinar series in partnership with the Administration for Community Living (ACL), the National Associations of Area Agencies on Aging (n4a) and Eldercare Locator. The goal of these webinars is to ensure that professionals are knowledgeable about the impact of Alzheimer’s disease and brain health on American families, and how connecting them to community resources and supports is critical. The first webinar explores critical findings from the newly released 2019 Alzheimer’s Association Facts & Figures Report including current prevalence and impact on American families, risk factors, impact on caregivers, and national cost of care. This includes significant findings and attitudes toward annual cognitive assessment among seniors and primary care physicians. Participants will learn how to access tools and resources to support families impacted by Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

  2. Lakeville Area Food Pantry Distribution

    April 25, 2019, 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM @ Paupack Township Municipal Building

    In case of inclement weather, please call 253-4646 two hours before the start of your distribution day for an automated message. For information about how to register with a pantry, you should call 253 - 4262. Please bring large brown paper bags & plastic bags with you each month to recycle. Bring Campbell’s labels to distribute to schools. If you are unable to attend, you may ask someone to pick your food up for you. However, they must have your pantry card and a note/proxy giving them permission to pick up your food.

    Positive Support in dealing with suicide & loss of a loved one. All individuals 16 years of age & older are welcome. In case of inclement weather support group will not meet. Volunteers and new members are needed to serve on the W/P Suicide Prevention Committee - ALL are welcome!
