Sealed proposals will be received at the office of LaBella Associates, 1000 Dunham Drive, Suite B, Dunmore, PA 18512 until 3:00 P.M. (P.L.T.) on Wednesday, May 3, 2023. 

Bids will be opened during the regular meeting of the Commissioners at 10:30 A.M. (P.L.T.) on Thursday May 4, 2023, at the Wayne County Courthouse.

Work shall consist of the following:

The proposed Project consists of replacing the existing County-owned bridge carrying Gridline Road (T-477) over Big Brook in Lebanon Township, Wayne County.  The existing concrete T-beam bridge will be replaced with a Precast Reinforced Concrete Box Culvert and C.I.P. Wingwalls.  The construction of the proposed structure will be completed utilizing a detour. The project also requires minor approach work including roadway resurfacing and guide rail.

Contract Documents may be obtained by contacting Louis J. Lovallo, PE at the offices of LaBella Associates at 570-904-6201. Access to download the Contract Documents will then be provided to all interested Contractors.

Proposals must be submitted upon the forms furnished by the Engineer.

The sealed bid must be marked "GRIDLINE ROAD BRIDGE REPLACEMENT”

All bidders MUST be PennDOT pre-qualified in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Publication 408/2020, Section 102.01 OR have at least 5 years’ experience in work on projects of similar size and scope.
Special Requirements:
The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to Wayne County.
The Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informalities in the Bidding. Bids may be held by the Commissioners for a period not to exceed 45 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the Bidder, prior to the award of the Contract. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest Responsible bidder.
