  1. Strengthening Families Program

    A free, fun opportunity to strengthen family communication and promote family bonding. The program includes family games and activities, a free meal, prized childcare for younger sibling, youth skill building activities and interaction with other parents and caregivers. Youth learn and practice: ? Setting positive future goals ? Peer pressure resistance skills ? Positive management of emotions— coping with stress ? Communication skills Parents/Caregivers learn how to help their youth: ? Transition to the teen years and adjust to middle school ? Practice decision making and life skills including stress management, peer relationships and goal setting ? Strengthen peer pressure resistance skills to avoid risks and substance use

  3. The Healing Power of Music Therapy Group

    March 19, 2020, 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM @ Honesdale Behavioral Health

    Sessions will focus on the many psychological benefits of music, healing through music and using music to cope with stress and overwhelming emotions. Participants will create and express themselves in music and dance, finding strength and purpose, and building connections. Open to patients age 18 and older.
