A free, fun opportunity to strengthen family communication and promote family bonding. The program includes family games and activities, a free meal, prized childcare for younger sibling, youth skill building activities and interaction with other parents and caregivers.
Parents/Caregivers learn how to help their youth:
? Transition to the teen years and adjust to middle school
? Practice decision making and life skills including stress management, peer relationships and goal setting
? Strengthen peer pressure resistance skills to avoid risks and substance use

Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is a two-day interactive workshop in suicide first-aid, which teaches participatns to recognize when someone may be at risk of suicide and work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety, The training helps people apply suicide first-aid in many settings. Participants who have completed an ASIST workshop in the USA are eligible to complete an online exam for $60 to obtain CEU credits.

A free support group designed to help people cope with the grieving process will be facilitated by Rev. Edward K. Erb, Wayne Memorial Hospital and Hospice Chaplain and Hospital and Hospice Social Worker, Anna Walsh. The group will provide a safe place in which individuals can sort out their feelings and share as they are able and willing. No one will be required to share. Your experience will be enhanced by attending all sessions; however, it is understandable if you cannot attend some. You may enter or exit at any time.
