  2. Apollo & Beyond -- Our Future in Space

    In recognition of the historic Apollo II moon landing 50 years ago, a special presentation will be given by Cris DeWolf, a Michigan teacher, NASA Airborne Astronomy Ambassador and science instructor at Camp Watonka. He will be speaking about the history that led to this momentous event, as well as developments for the future.

    In three sessions, learn beginning and intermediate skills on the Glowforge Laser cutting machine. Work on your own project, hands on with one-on- one instruction with Lisa Glover, who is a designer with a background in Engineering, Architecture and Fine Art. She has run 3 successful Kickstarter campaigns, created STEAM curricula for several summer camps, and is now helping millions of kids become makers through her work at Highlights for Children.
