  1. Honesdale Senior Center Summer Picnic

    The Wayne County Area Agency on Aging hosts a Summer Picnic for the Honesdale Senior Center and celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Woodstock. So break out your tie-dye and get your groove on with entertainment by Frank Gervasi. There will also be a door-prize drawing and bingo. Lunch is served at 12 noon and features a cook-out menu of hot dogs and hamburgers. Transportation is available, but arrangements must be made at least two days in advance by calling 570-253-4280.

  2. Newfoundland Food Pantry distribution

    July 12, 2019, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM @ Newfoundland Moravian Church

    In case of inclement weather, please call 253-4646 two hours before the start of your distribution day for an automated message. For information about how to register with a pantry, you should call 253 - 4262. Please bring large brown paper bags & plastic bags with you each month to recycle. Bring Campbell’s labels to distribute to schools. If you are unable to attend, you may ask someone to pick your food up for you. However, they must have your pantry card and a note/proxy giving them permission to pick up your food.
