The American Red Cross National home fire safety campaign where volunteers help residents draw a fire escape plan, teach about cooking safety tips, document pertinent information, and install 10 year lithium batter smoke alarms for FREE.
Volunteers will meet at the Honesdale Fire Department at 8:30 am.

The Moonlight Walk/Run awards for top two male and female overall, top two masters male and female and two two male and female finishers in each runner category. The event includes a quarter-mile Kids Fun Run, a 1.5 mile walk and 5K to 10K run. Participants receive food, beverage and fresh fruit along with water on the course. Tech running shirts guaranteed to pre-registered participants only.
The Children’s Advocacy Center/NEPA coordinates a multidisciplinary team response to child abuse and neglect in Lackawanna and surrounding counties of Northeastern Pennsylvania. The Center also provides child abuse prevention education to professionals and the communities served.
