The Wayne County Office of Behavioral & Development Program s and Early Intervention host this training for behavioral health professionals, educators, daycare staff, Early Intervention providers, parents and anyone who works with infants/young children. The training will be provided by Shashi DeHaan MAS-IFP, IMH-E, CFTP, provides Practice Based Coaching specific to Positive Behavior Intervention & Supports and Reflective Consulting for Early Head Start and Head Start of Clinton, Lycoming, and Montour Counties. He will provide an overview of infant mental health and discuss trauma-sensitve care of young children as well as Childhood Attachment: A Relational Foundation.

Trip is June 17, 6:30 pm to 11 pm to the Thomas G. Cupillari Obsevatory at Keystone College as part of the Adult Summer Learning Program theme of "Space." Evening begins with a lecture. Observation may be limited depending on the night sky. Seating will be assigned based on when payment is made.

The Wayne County Commissioners and the Wayne County Lyme Disease Task Force present a program on Lyme DIsease featuring speakers Dr. Clarence Mast on "A Clinical Approach to the Diagnosis and Treatment of Tick-Borne Diseases with New Treatment Advances." He is a Lyme-literate medical doctor practicing in Meshoppen, who has been treating patients who suffer from Lyme Disease and tick-borne co-infections for 14 years. Dr. Cathleen Mattos will discuss, "How's Your Gut? Tick-Borne Diseases and Their Affect on Your Immune System." She is a Board Certified Chiropractor and member of the Pike County Lyme Disease Task Force who specializes in alternative medical treatment of Lyme Disease and other co-infections.
