The Wayne County Area Agency on Aging wants to let all those age 60 or older know about the wide array of programs and opportunities they can take advantage of at the Senior Centers, so they are offering a free meal and transportation to those new to the facility. It's all part of Older Americans Month that encourages seniors to Connect, Create & Contribute through their local senior centers. All you have to do is call the Aging Office at 570-253-5540 at least two days in advance for transportation and one day before for the meal. Members of the Art Class will display their creations, there will be music by Light'n Up and a delicious meal of Sweet & Sour Pork and Stir Fry Veggies. Light refreshments will be served throughout the day. Check us out!

The expo will focus on the support services that cater to the medically fragile youth who are in need of information in Wayne and Pike County. It is vital to link families to the numerous agencies in the community. Individuals with complex medical needs are unique and need constant, specialized, and coordinated care. The goal of this expo is to educate, provide support, and assist those in need to increase their quality of life. Vendors from local agencies will help navigate questions about Home Health, Insurance, Disability Life Planning, Assistive Technology, Home Modification and more.
The event will have speakers, resource tables, activities and raffles available for all attendees.
If you are an agency that works with this specific population please contact us for a vendor space no later than April 15, 2019. Vendors will be responsible for providing an activity at their table or a door prize to be raffled. Space is limited. We will supply the table and chair.

All levels of players and instruments are welcome. This jam is entirely acoustic, so please leave your amps at home. This is a great opportunity for new players to learn how to interact musically with others, and maybe even learn a thing or two! Not musically inclined but love the genre? Sit back and enjoy the melodies provided by amazing musicians right here in our community. Led by Ron Penska.
