The Wayne County Employment & Training Center will be available to assist job seekers with employment resources, unemployment compensation, job search, training and more.

Wayne County Behavioral & Developmental Programs, the Advocacy Alliance and Northeastern PA Health Care Quality Unit present a training program for caregivers, Life Sharing providers, Program Managers, IDD NUrse ans Supports Coordinators. Not only will you learn the difference between the different levels of Dysphagia diet, how to properly prepare appetizing looking food. There will be educational information and stations set up with food processors, food, scales and a professional person to assist you as you work to modify the food into the texture that is ordered. Hands on training will give you the opportunity to make sure that prescribed diets are correct and safe.

Come out for this year's Relay For Life and get involved by joining or starting a team. You can stop in anytime and walk a lap. Decorate a Luminaria or participate in on-field activities. There will be face painting, the bounce house, and more.

In case of inclement weather, please call 253-4646 two hours before the start of your distribution day for an automated message. For information about how to register with a pantry, you should call 253 - 4262. Please bring large brown paper bags & plastic bags with you each month to recycle. Bring Campbell’s labels to distribute to schools. If you are unable to attend, you may ask someone to pick your food up for you. However, they must have your pantry card and a note/proxy giving them permission to pick up your food
