The sale features seedlings and transplants of a variety of native trees, shrubs and ornamentals, many of which are favored by wildlife.
This year’s offering includes two seed mixes – one to attract and sustain pollinating insects like honeybees and butterflies and the other to provide food and shelter for wildlife like turkey and deer. The mixes are made up of native seeds and can be purchased by the ounce for small areas and by the pound for larger plots.
You can buy Red Pine, Norway Spruce, Concolor Fir, Chestnut Oak, Butternut, Chokecherry, Silky Dogwood and Button Bush along with Black Eyed Susans and Purple Cone Flower, as well as blue bird nesting boxes, tree and tree shelters are also available.

The project “Hybrid” presented by the Marywood Jazz Ambassadors is an ensemble assembled to explore the styles laid out by legendary African American composers. Hybrid explores Funk, New Orleans 2nd Line, and Soul Jazz, performing works by Sly and the Family Stone, The Rebirth Brass Band, Trombone Shorty, and famous jazz brothers Nat and Cannonball Adderley. Members of the ensemble all have futures in music, with their sights on degrees in Music Education, Music Therapy, and Performance.
