The program will include a presentation by Certified Elder Law Attorney Marianne Kreisher, who will discuss powers of attorney, wills and advanced health care directives. She will also examine the pros and cons of various benefits and options available to help seniors receive the care they need in the least restrictive environment.
A representative from CCR will explain Community Health Choices (CHC) as well as what services they offer.Their philosophy is that nearly every need or hardship has an established solution in the form of an agency, department or grant, but many times people are unaware that they exist or how to access them. Their mission is to locate and identify those answers and connect them with the individuals they were originally intended to serve.
