It will bring together individuals with disabilities, family members, service providers, nonprofit organizations, and policy makers to discuss, collaborate, and learn about financial education.
The conference is a one-day, free, accessible event open to the public.

Sessions will focus on the many psychological benefits of music, healing through music and using music to cope with stress and overwhelming emotions. Participants will create and express themselves in music and dance, finding strength and purpose, and building connections. Open to patients age 18 and older.

The group provides a friendly supportive environment for individuals to discuss men’s issues. The group encourages participants to identify their strengths and to develop needed skills. Everyone is encouraged to participate at their own pace. Some of us learn through talking while others learn more from listening. A new topic will be discussed each week. The group discusses healthy communication, anger management, relationships, grief, divorce/separation, depression, stress management, etc.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness sponsors a twice monthly support group in Wayne County, which provides support for persons living with mental illness, family members, professionals, and friends.
