The North PPODS (Parents of Children with Special Needs) and the National Down Syndrome Society present the ninth annual Pocono Buddy Walk & Family Fund Day.
This ceremonial walk to support inclusion and acceptance of individuals with down syndrome features bounce house, gift basket raffle, face painting, crafts, vendors row, selfie station and more. Register by Sept. 10 to get a free T-shirt.

The proceeds of this event will be donated to the The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (via the Honesdale High School FBLA Service Project), Wayne County Human Services, and will be used to defray the cost of the Honesdale High School Class of 2019 Senior Class Trip.

We will have several stations throughout the course in which participants will run, walk, or dance through colorful powder on their way to the finish line, so please dress in clothing you are not afraid to get colorful! The Best of the Eagles band is said to be “the most exact interpretation of the music of the Eagles in America,” The Best of the Eagles, established in 2012, performs classic Eagles hits such as Take It Easy, Hotel California, Witchy Woman and Take it to the Limit and often plays to sold-out audiences.
All proceeds from the concert will benefit the ongoing expansion of the hospital’s facilities and physician recruitment. The new tower is expected to house 50 private patient rooms which will greatly improve patient care once the expansion is complete.
