Casey Thomas and Kimmie Leff are Scranton, PA natives, friends, thespians, and members of the New Vintage Ensemble. They have based their play on a growing movement called “vanlife” and the performance style is inspired by the National Forensic League/Speech and Debate presentation. Vanlife, itself, is a growing trend amongst millennials that is a renewed interest in the American road-trip mixed with the hippie lifestyle and a smattering of social media. This will be a can't miss comedy of 2 friends with contents under pressure, unimaginable circumstances, tickling triumphs & unshowered.
#vanlife debuted at the 2017 Scranton Fringe Festival, was voted Best Out of Town Show at the 2018 Pittsburgh Fringe Festival in April, and is a “Recommended Show” by Fringe Review. This is New Vintage Ensembles’ 3rd year partnering with The Cooperage.
