This method centers around identifying opioid use disorder during an acute hospitalization and embedding a peer counselor from a local drug treatment program into the care team on the unit. Learn how this novel approach can reduce opioid withdrawal during hospitalization, reduce readmissions, and increase successful transition to outpatient treatment.   3. Survivors of Suicide Loss Support Group

    May 24, 2018, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM @ Wayne Memorial Hospital

    Positive support in dealing with suicide and loss of a loved one. All individuals 16 years of age and older are welcome. Volunteers and new members are needed to serve on the Wayne/Pike Suicide Prevention Committee. The Wayne/Pike Suicide Awareness Walk is scheduled for Sept. 29.
