The Course is for new employment professionals who have been on the job under one year, or can serve as a comprehensive refresher for others who have a responsibility of finding and supporting employment for individuals with disabilities.

Join Quality Insights and special guest speaker Terry Horton, MD, FACP, FASAM to learn about a novel multidisciplinary approach to opioid use disorder treatment called Project Engage. This method centers around identifying opioid use disorder during an acute hospitalization and embedding a peer counselor from a local drug treatment program into the care team on the unit. Learn how this novel approach can reduce opioid withdrawal during hospitalization, reduce readmissions, and increase successful transition to outpatient treatment.

Positive support in dealing with suicide and loss of a loved one. All individuals 16 years of age and older are welcome.
Volunteers and new members are needed to serve on the Wayne/Pike Suicide Prevention Committee. The Wayne/Pike Suicide Awareness Walk is scheduled for Sept. 29.
