    Assistive technology devices help make it possible for individuals with disabilities to work, live in their own home, go to school, and participate in the community. There are many possible funding resources in Pennsylvania; however they are largely unknown. Pennsylvania Assistive Technology Foundation (PATF), a statewide non-profit organization, will share material about PA resources as well as information about their unique loan programs. Please join Mrs. Susan Tachau, Chief Executive Officer of the PATF, who will conduct the webinar.

The tour will discuss the historic aspects of the building and participants can see the most unusual basement that makes it possible for the library to be at this location. Cookies and punch will be served. ALA (American Library Associations) is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. This organization promotes and supports libraries across the country celebrating the contributions of our nation’s libraries and librarians and to promote library use and support. The theme for this year is “Libraries Lead”.

    Join authors Gilda Runco and Melody Balthaser as they talk about their books. Runco's "Legacy of the Purpose Stone" explores how a real-life tragedy led others towards a path for discovering their special purpose. Balthaser's "Seeking Sophie" is a work of inspirational fiction set in 1858 New England. ALA (American Library Associations) is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year.
