The sale features seedlings and transplants of a variety of native trees, shrubs and ornamentals, many of which are favored by wildlife. This year the offering includes two seed mixes – one to attract and sustain pollinating insects like honey bees and butterflies and the other to provide food and shelter for wildlife like turkey and deer.

Visitors on the tour can visit 10 maple sugaring operations and can expect to see different methods of production from tapping, collecting, boiling, filtering and bottling. The Wayne Conservation District is offering a bus tour on both Saturday & Sunday. Starting from the Wayne County Park Street Complex, 648 Park Street, in Honesdale, the bus will depart at 8 am and return before 3 pm after visiting six of the 10 sugar shacks.
